Our client is a highly regarded Tier 2 civil contractor delivering work across Australia, known for their expertise in complex demolition, remediation and large-scale infrastructure works. With strong growth underway and major projects emerging across NSW, they are now seeking an experienced Demolition Estimator to support the business through continued expansion.
This is a site-based position, offering hands-on exposure to projects with direct visibility of methodology, progress, subcontractor performance and costing accuracy.

- Preparing cost estimates, tenders and pricing for demolition projects across commercial, industrial and civil environments
- Spending time onsite to assess scope, methodology, risk and disposal requirements firsthand
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scope to develop accurate BOQs and take-offs
- Working closely with engineers, PMs and subcontractors to validate methodology and costing
- Sourcing subcontractor pricing, analysing risk, productivity and program variables
- Preparing tender submissions alongside the Bid Manager and supporting bid development with the estimating team
- Monitoring market pricing, improving costing models and providing insight post-project
- Supporting handover to delivery teams once tenders are secured
- Demonstrated experience estimating demolition projects is essential
- Strong understanding of demolition methodology, waste classification & environmental compliance
- Confident in BOQs, cost planning, site measurement and tender preparation
- Comfortable working in a site-based role with field exposure to live projects
- Strong communication skills when working with internal teams & subcontractors
- Detail-driven, commercially aware and committed to accurate estimating outcomes
