WOW Recruitment are recruiting for a Business Development Manager role with a leading provider of L&D focussed events.
In this role you'll be responsible for launching the new private sector arm of their business, focussing on winning business from enterprise businesses across Australia.
With the first events taking place later this year, they already have a very high profile roster of speakers lined up.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a strategic business development plan to penetrate the enterprise market.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organisations.
- Presenting compelling proposals and effectively negotiating agreements to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery and client satisfaction.
- Proven experience in business development or sales, consistently exceeding targets within a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing relationships with enterprise-level clients (e.g., ASX-listed companies, large multinationals).
- Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans specifically targeting large organisations.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to articulate value propositions to senior executives.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and the ability to navigate complex decision-making processes.
- In the region of $100-120k + super
- First year OTE $200k +
