WOW Recruitment are seeking a driven and motivated Operations Manager to join a growing business based in Hunters Hill.

Leading a team of 6 technicians, this is an exciting, hands-on role within the pool industry, ideal for a capable all-rounder who thrives on keeping operations running smoothly, liaising with contractors, and providing exceptional face to face customer service and guidance. You’ll also play a part in offering product advice and insights to customers – with full training provided.

You Will Be:

🧩 Be the heart of our daily operations – your leadership will directly impact their customers, teams and their success
🧑‍🔧 Managing and coordinating daily job schedules for six technicians
🔀 Strategically allocating jobs based on technician skillsets and location
📞 Handling customer communications via phone, email, and in person
🛍️ Greeting customers and managing counter sales – including upselling pool products and services
📝 Signing up new customers for ongoing maintenance services
🧠 Monitoring and maintaining scheduling using tools such as Google Calendar and Pool Tracker (full training provided - desirable but not essential)
💻 Using Xero for invoicing and basic operational tracking
🔧 Supporting backend operations
⚙️ Identifying workflow improvements and contributing to overall business efficiency
🤝 Assisting with proposals, liaising with real estate agents and tender opportunities

You Are:

💬 A warm, confident communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
📋 Experienced in operational coordination, scheduling, or similar roles
🧘 Adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure, able to be flexible
🧑‍💻 Tech-savvy and familiar with platforms like Xero, Google Calendar, and CRM tools
🫶 A people-oriented leader – supportive, approachable, and solutions-focused
🗂️ Highly organised and able to juggle a busy day to day workload
💡 Commercially minded and always looking for opportunities to improve service or efficiency
