You will be

As a Customer Service Consultant, you’ll act as a vital link between financial advisers, customers, and the underwriting team – ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering exceptional, customer-focused service to all stakeholders
  • Conducting Tele Interview calls with customers to gather risk-related information
  • Completing life insurance applications on behalf of financial advisers
  • Managing your own portfolio of adviser relationships
  • Visiting advisers to promote the company’s services and proposition
  • Ensuring case completion within agreed service levels
  • Supporting the Tele Bookings Consultant when required
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, create efficiencies, and enhance service delivery
You will have

  • An understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building and active listening abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy, initiative, and a commitment to excellence
  • A Medical Terminology course or similar (highly regarded)
  • 1–2+ years’ experience in life insurance, including knowledge of underwriting, new business, and life products
