Position: Account Manager (Events/Experiential Agency)

The Account Manager in an events or experiential agency is the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for building strong relationships, understanding their business objectives, and ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative and impactful event solutions. They act as the bridge between the client and the internal creative and production teams, ensuring client needs are met and projects are delivered to the highest standards.


Day to day, an Account Manager manages client expectations, develops project briefs, nurtures existing accounts for growth opportunities, and oversees the financial health of their projects. They are excellent communicators, strategic thinkers, and adept at managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced agency environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within the events and experiential sector.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their needs and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project briefs and translate client requirements to internal creative and production teams.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring smooth execution from concept to delivery and post-event analysis.
  • Manage client expectations, project timelines, and budgets, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development within existing client relationships.
  • Present proposals, creative concepts, and project updates to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Creative, Production, Project Management) to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage client contracts, invoices, and financial reporting for projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, client industries, and competitive landscape.

 

Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5+ years) as an Account Manager within an events, experiential, or creative agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the events and experiential marketing landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Project management aptitude with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Budget management experience and financial literacy.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.
