Position: Brand Manager

The Brand Manager is responsible for the strategic development, management, and growth of a specific brand or portfolio of brands. They act as the custodian of the brand's identity, ensuring all marketing activities align with brand values, resonate with target audiences, and drive market share and profitability. 


Day to day, a Brand Manager conducts in-depth market research, develops brand positioning and messaging, oversees integrated marketing campaigns, manages product launches, and monitors brand health. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (sales, product, creative, agencies) to ensure consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives. 
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and challenges. 
  • Define brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity guidelines. 
  • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels. 
  • Manage brand budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI. 
  • Lead new product development and launch initiatives from a brand perspective. 
  • Monitor brand performance, market share, and key brand health metrics, reporting regularly to senior management. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product development) and external agencies (e.g., advertising, PR) to ensure consistent brand communication. 
  • Manage brand assets and ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all marketing collateral. 
  • Identify and implement strategies for brand growth and market penetration. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 
  • Proven experience (5-7+ years) as a Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager. 
  • Demonstrated success in developing and growing brands within a competitive market. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. 
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and leadership abilities. 
  • Superior verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Proficiency in market research tools and brand management software. 
  • Deep understanding of consumer behaviour and market dynamics. 
  • Creative mindset with a commercial orientation.
