Position: Digital Marketing Executive
The Digital Marketing Executive supports the digital marketing team in the execution and daily management of various online campaigns. This entry to mid-level role is crucial for ensuring digital activities are implemented accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall online presence and performance.
Day to day, a Digital Marketing Executive assists with content scheduling, data entry for campaigns, basic reporting, social media monitoring, and website updates. They are highly organised, eager to learn, and possess a foundational understanding of digital marketing principles.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation and daily management of digital marketing campaigns across various channels.
- Help schedule and publish content on social media platforms, websites, and email marketing systems.
- Monitor social media channels and assist with community engagement.
- Support SEO efforts by assisting with keyword research, content optimisation, and link building activities.
- Aid in the setup and basic optimisation of paid advertising campaigns.
- Compile data for digital marketing reports, tracking key metrics and performance.
- Conduct basic competitor analysis and research on digital trends.
- Maintain digital asset libraries and marketing databases.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., content, design) to ensure digital assets are delivered on time.
- Stay updated with industry news and best practices in digital marketing.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in an entry-level digital marketing role or internship.
- Basic understanding of SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media scheduling tools).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
