Position: Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a hands-on role focused on implementing and optimising specific digital marketing tactics to drive online performance. They work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to execute campaigns across various channels, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement.
Day to day, a Digital Marketing Specialist manages SEO initiatives, sets up and optimises paid ad campaigns, coordinates email marketing efforts, oversees social media content, and tracks performance metrics. They are highly detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about leveraging digital tools to achieve marketing objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media, email, display).
- Conduct keyword research and on-page/off-page SEO optimisation.
- Set up, manage, and report on paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads).
- Assist with content creation and optimisation for digital platforms (website, blog, social media).
- Manage and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
- Monitor social media channels, schedule content, and engage with online communities.
- Utilise web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track, report, and analyse website traffic and campaign performance.
- Identify trends and insights in digital data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across digital touchpoints.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proactive and eager to learn new digital tools and strategies.
