As a Business Development Manager, you will work alongside a high-performing team within the automotive space. Working with well-known brands, you’ll take ownership of driving new business and growing existing accounts across Melbourne.
Salary:$90k + Super + Company Vehicle + Fuel Card + Comms
Location: Melbourne Metro & Surrounding areas
Working Model: Field-based role
🔧 The Role
- Identify, target, and develop new client relationships.
- Lead and mentor a small Melbourne-based team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Coach team members on best practices in sales, client engagement, and relationship management.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships while retaining key accounts.
- Manage existing accounts and pursue new business opportunities.
- Educate clients on our services, processes, and points of difference.
- Keep on top of industry trends and competitor activity.
🎯 About You
- Proven experience in business development and account management.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience (ideal).
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel locally (essential).
