Our client specialises in the custom joinery, furniture, fixtures and fittings space - predominantly within the Retail industry. With multiple manufacturing facilities across the globe, they deliver high-quality, custom-made solutions ranging from standalone product supply to full fit-out and turnkey project delivery. As they continue expanding beyond traditional retail sectors, this role will be instrumental in driving growth across new verticals, whether that be modular residential construction, hotels, hospitality, aged care or showrooms.

Key Focus Areas

Sales Excellence: Lead growth strategies across Modular Residential, Hospitality, Hotel, Aged Care, Commercial, Showrooms OR other evolving sector opportunities.
New Business Development: Drive proactive acquisition of new clients - this role is heavily new-business focused.
Marketing Innovation: Develop integrated multichannel campaigns that build brand awareness and position the business as a leader in their space.
Relationship Building: Leverage a 20-year industry reputation to develop strong relationships with architects, developers, builders, brand managers and key national stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities


• Expand market presence across EITHER / ANY of the following: modular residential, hotel, hospitality, aged care, commercial, showrooms and other emerging sectors.
• Present the company’s end-to-end capability across design, manufacturing, joinery, logistics, and international production.
• Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation and prospecting through to closing.
• Execute a hybrid BDM & Account Management model (win new clients, nurture accounts, land-and-expand into repeat or multi-site opportunities).
• Maintain high-level market intelligence across construction, design, manufacturing and fit-out sectors.

What We’re Seeking

• Strong industry experience across EITHER / ANY of the following: modular residential construction, hotels, hospitality, aged care, showrooms OR retail fit-out.
• A national client network- essential for this role.
• Working knowledge of joinery, fit-out, construction or shop layout processes would be highly beneficial.
• Proven track record in new business development, consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to manage your own end-to-end pipeline: prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing.

Role Structure & Work Environment

• Hybrid position: mostly office-based initially during onboarding, then flexible hybrid arrangement.
• Interstate travel as required for client meetings, presentations and deal closure.
• High autonomy with direct influence on business growth trajectory.
