The Core Mission: Strategy & Growth (70% New Business Focus)
This role is a clear mandate for new business success. Your primary focus will be driving the agency's expansion, with a split of 70% new business acquisition and 30% strategic account retention.
- Diverse Client Portfolio: Drive growth across a mix of B2B and B2C clients, spanning high-impact sectors like technology, finance, media, and major consumer brands.
- Thought Leadership & New Business: You won't just respond to briefs; you'll create them. You will lead the agency’s proactive sales strategy by running high-value workshops and panel discussions that showcase the agency's unique creative expertise.
- Peer-to-Peer Engagement: Drive sales through sophisticated networking, outreach, and strategic partnership, engaging with potential clients as a trusted peer and advisor in the C-suite.
- Tender Leadership: Take full ownership of complex, high-stakes tender responses, blending commercial strategy with creative vision to secure major contracts.
- Integrated Solutions: While the heart of the work is events and experiential, you will lead the charge in developing broader solutions that integrate social, content, and video to deliver truly full-service projects for Tier-1 brands.
As a member of the Agency Leadership Team, your influence will extend beyond client accounts. You will be responsible for shaping the agency's strategic direction and nurturing talent.
- Executive Leadership: Contribute directly to business strategy, market positioning, and growth targets as a key member of the leadership team.
- Team Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and inspire a direct report within the Client Services function, driving high performance and a culture of proactive client partnership.
A proven Director in a strategic growth role within a creative, events, or experiential marketing environment. You'll bring a demonstrable passion for proactive business development and a strategic approach to client acquisition.
- A natural closer with a strong track record of winning and scaling high-value contracts.
- Gravitas and confidence in a consultative sales environment (e.g., leading workshops and strategic presentations).
- A leader who is comfortable driving complex, integrated creative solutions.
- Highly skilled in negotiation, financial management, and leading multi-disciplinary teams through intense pitch and tender processes.
$175,000 - 200,000 + superannuation + new business commission
