As Communications Manager you'll own lifecycle comms to the consultancy's pre‑customer audience (i.e., prospects and the wider founder community who aren’t enrolled yet).
Think value‑rich newsletters, founder‑led insights and segmented nurture journeys that educate first and convert second.
The Opporunity
You’ll be the steward of the consultancy's voice to the market, shipping 2–3 emails per week and shaping the systems behind them - HubSpot segmentation, list health and lifecycle flows.
You’ll pair exceptional copy with clean data and tight documentation so campaigns scale smoothly and deliver measurable results.
What You'll Own
- Email & nurture strategy for non‑members/prospects: plan and ship newsletters, value‑adds and trigger‑based sequences that build trust and pipeline.
- Segmentation & personalisation in HubSpot: segment by revenue, company size, industry and behaviour so every send feels relevant.
- CRM health & governance: list hygiene, subscription management, enrichment and naming conventions to protect deliverability and data integrity.
- Experimentation & analysis: A/B tests, cohort views and funnel diagnostics (open → click → lead/MQL), with recommendations that move the numbers.
- Documentation & QA: templates, tone notes, approval flow and workflow maps, so the machine runs reliably at pace.
- Founder‑led voice at scale: partner with the leadership/brand team to translate founder insights into high‑performing, on‑brand comms
- World‑class copywriting: clear, concise and commercially sharp - you know how to sell without shouting.
- Hands‑on HubSpot expertise: lists, dynamic segments, workflows, scoring, deliverability and reporting.
- Lifecycle intuition: you’ve mapped journeys across awareness → consideration → decision and know where to intervene.
- Analytical clarity: you live in dashboards, love a cohort chart, and can explain why a test worked.
- Operational discipline: documentation and QA are second nature.
- Bonus points for founder‑led brand experience or B2B/education/coaching environments.
