Contracts Administrator (Pre-Contracts)


WOW Recruitment is partnered with a reputable and well-established, Australian-owned business that operate across Australia in the construction services space and is seeking a Contracts Administrator. 

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, with opportunity to learn and grow with exposure to many business facets, this position sits at the front end of the contract lifecycle and offers hands-on exposure to commercial contracts, tender submissions, and risk assessment.

You will be:
  • Reviewing hire and supply agreements prior to signing
  • Ensuring legal compliance
  • Supporting tender submissions, including government and Tier 1 tenders
  • Reviewing pricing documentation and contractual terms
  • Identifying contractual and commercial risks and escalating where required
  • Working closely with Sales Leadership, Account Managers, and the Managing Director
  • Drafting contract correspondence and maintaining accurate records
  • Tracking contract renewals and key dates
  • Ensuring hire agreements comply with licensing, ticketing, and site induction requirements
You are:
  • 2+ years of experience in paralegal work, legal support, or commercial contracts
  • Confident interpreting legal language and contract terms
  • Commercially aware, with sound judgement when assessing risk
  • Comfortable liaising with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Experience or exposure to the following will be highly regarded:
  • Commercial construction environments
  • Government and Tier 1 tender processes
  • Environmental laws or compliance frameworks
  • Pre-contract contract review experience
