About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Contracts Administrator and Senior Project Manager, you will support complex construction projects by assisting with contractual administration, project documentation, cost control, and stakeholder management. You will gain hands-on experience across contract management, subcontractor engagement, design coordination, and compliance, developing your skills to take on greater responsibilities over time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Senior Contracts Administrator in managing project contracts and subcontractor agreements
- Preparing and tracking project documentation, progress claims, and variations
- Assisting with cost control, budget monitoring, and financial reporting
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams
- Attending site and design meetings and contributing to project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with project, legal, and safety standards
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Building and Construction, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 1–2 years experience in construction or contracts administration, cadetship or industrial building exposure desirable
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to problem-solve
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ability to build trust across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project software (e.g., Jobpac, Aconex, PayApps) is desirable
- Eligibility to work in Australia and a current driver’s licence
