WOW Recruitment is seeking multiple Event Assistants to support a leading healthcare organisation delivering major scientific and medical conferences across Australia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service, hospitality, or events experience who enjoys being hands-on, interacting with people, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly from start to finish.
About the Role:
You’ll play a key part in creating a seamless delegate experience at our upcoming event, held at South Bank.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the registration desk and signing in delegates
- Distributing name badges, lanyards, and programs
- Assisting with delegate enquiries
- Liaising with hotel and catering teams to ensure smooth event flow
- Supporting the on-site Event Manager as needed
We’re looking for people who are:
- Well presented, confident, and professional under pressure
- Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive
- Experienced in customer service, hospitality, or events (preferred but not essential)
- Be part of high-profile healthcare and scientific events
- Work with a supportive, experienced Event Management team
- Great opportunity to build experience in the events industry
