Our client is entering an exciting new chapter which has opened doors for a successful General Manager to join their business in Melbourne.
 
A leading provider of residential energy efficiency solutions under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program with established success in Sydney and strong developing operations across Melbourne, this is a rare opportunity to play a defining role in shaping its future.

They are seeking an experienced General Manager to take the lead in Victoria, shaping strategy, building culture, and driving long term success.

The Role

As General Manager you’ll be responsible for the performance and growth of the Melbourne operations.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team, overseeing sales, operations, and compliance, while fostering a values-driven, high-performing culture.
 
  • Lead and manage the Victorian division across two sites.
  • Strategise and implement to drive revenue growth and support the expansion of new service divisions under the VEU/residential rebate space
  • Build and develop high-performing teams with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Establish a positive, values driven workplace culture.
  • Introduce scalable systems and data-driven processes.
  • Leverage technology to streamline processes and remain competitive in the market
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and operational excellence.
  • Present business cases and budget proposals to support strategic investment.
  • Progressively assume P&L responsibility for the Victorian division.
 
About You

We’re looking for a commercially minded, entrepreneurial leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment with proven experience.
 
  • Senior leadership experience (GM, Head of Operations, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead both sales and operations functions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering profitable growth.
  • Track record in driving cultural transformation and building trust.
  • Confidence in implementing systems, processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Industry experience in solar, renewables, or adjacent sectors
