Are you a commercially driven, strategic leader ready to take full ownership of the national parts and inventory network for one of Australia's fastest-growing industrial businesses?

WOW Recruitment is seeking a  National Parts & Inventory Manager  for a leading, values-driven warehouse solutions company (forklifts, equipment, service). This is a highly autonomous, national leadership role that blends  commercial acumen  with deep  operational excellence  and strong  people leadership.

You will play a defining role in building a parts and inventory engine that keeps Australia’s warehouses moving!

What’s On Offer:
  • Impact & Ownership: Command the entire national parts supply chain P&L, from supplier negotiation and margin setting to national inventory control, with direct reporting to the Managing Director.
  • Systems & Accuracy: Lead the ERP system utilization and operational excellence drive, implementing cycle count procedures to achieve a critical target of ≥ 98% stock accuracy.
  • Strategic Growth: Play a defining leadership role in a rapidly expanding industrial company, building the national network and standardizing best-practice procurement, receiving, and distribution procedures across five national branches.
  • Culture & Leadership: Join a down-to-earth, high-energy team whose culture is defined by Integrity, Drive, and Fizz, where you will mentor and coach the national Parts team

What You’ll Do

1. Commercial Leadership
  • Own Commercial Performance:  Take full ownership of the  Parts Division’s commercial performance  across all categories (MHE, automotive, and warehouse consumables).
  • Pricing & Margin:  Set and maintain gross margins for all national parts sales, driving profitability.
  • Supplier Management:  Manage key supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure strong contract performance.
  • Cost Control:  Achieve annualised savings or efficiency gains to drive business value.
2. Operational Excellence
  • Inventory Ownership:  Oversee all  parts, consumables, and inventory  across the business (forklifts, service vans, workshops, 3PL storage, and hardware).
  • Accuracy & Control:  Drive a target of  98% stock accuracy  (verified through cycle counts) and lead the implementation of best-practice inventory control procedures.
  • Supply Chain:  Implement and standardize national procedures for procurement, receiving, kitting, and distribution.
  • ERP/Systems:  Serve as the  parts system expert  for the ERP, ensuring clean data, accurate reporting, and efficient workflows.
3. Team Leadership
  • Culture & Coaching:  Lead, mentor, and coach the national Parts team, fostering a culture of ownership, safety, and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Alignment:  Work closely with National & State Managers, the CX Manager, and the Finance Team to ensure parts operations align perfectly with service delivery and financial goals.

What You Bring

  • Experience:  Proven track record in a senior Inventory, Parts, or Supply Chain leadership role, ideally within the industrial, logistics, or heavy equipment sector.
  • Commercial Acumen:  You know how to own the P&L and drive profitability through pricing and cost control.
  • Systems & Process:  Advanced ERP experience (managing purchasing and inventory data) and the ability to design standardized, best-practice operational procedures (SOPs).
  • Leadership:  Demonstrated ability to lead both people and process and be a pragmatic problem-solver who thrives in a growth environment.
Bring your leadership and your commercial instincts — and help us build a parts and inventory engine that keeps Australia’s warehouses moving.
