About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a National Training & Development Specialist to take full ownership and lead their technical training and application function across the business.
This is a hands-on, strategic role based in Melbourne, where you’ll deliver high-quality training programs, provide essential technical support, and directly help customers maximize their use of specialized products. You will be instrumental in building customer capability, promoting best practice, and driving product adoption and sales pull-through.
Key Responsibilities (Training & Technical)
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging, structured training programs, workshops, and certifications.
- Provide hands-on application training across three core national categories:
- Interior Refresh: Wraps for furniture, cabinets, and interior surfaces.
- Window Films: Decorative, privacy, and specialized films (e.g., tram films).
- General Signage: Digital print media, rigid sheets, PVC, and ACM.
- Curate and maintain the national training calendar and program flow for the Melbourne training centre and all branch locations.
- Host training seminars, webinars, and occasional on-site sales support meetings nationwide.
- Support complex customer projects with in-field technical expertise when required.
- Measure program effectiveness and ROI via session costs, revenue, and attendee spend contribution.
We are seeking a candidate who is both technically skilled and a confident trainer, comfortable in a highly professional, customer-facing role.
- Real-world, hands-on materials installation experience for general signage credibility.
- Strong experience in wide format digital printing and RIP/workflow software.
- Practical knowledge of specialized signage and surface graphic material applications.
- Proven facilitation, presentation, and curriculum development skills.
- Required flexibility to travel frequently across Australia (approx. 1 week per month, with potential for Sunday-Friday on the road).
- Self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A trade qualification or relevant industry certifications are highly regarded.
