Immediate start | Trade counter & sales support
Our client is seeking a Trade Storeperson to provide temporary support within a busy wholesale trade branch. This role has been created as an interim measure to assist with busy counter sales, phone and email enquiries and general store support.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with trade, wholesale or counter sales experience who can step in quickly, hit the ground running, and support a fast-paced branch environment.
What you will be doing
- Serving customers at the trade counter and processing over-the-counter sales
- Handling incoming sales calls and email enquiries
- Supporting store operations including order processing and general administration
- Providing product information, pricing, and promotion details to trade customers
- Assisting with store presentation, merchandising, and day-to-day branch support
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Previous experience in trade counter sales, wholesale, HVAC, or customer service
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Confidence using basic computer systems and processing sales transactions
- Reliable, professional, and able to work autonomously
- Trade or industrial product exposure highly regarded but not essential
