WOW Recruitment is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead our clients' growth across the Private and Independent Schools sector. Based in their Mascot (Sydney) office, you will be the driving force behind acquiring new school clients and expanding their footprint across Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.

Location: Mascot
Salary: $90-100k + Super + Commission
Working Model: Office-Based (First 6 months)
Interstate Travel: Once per quarter

The Role

  • Own the Pipeline:  Identify, prospect, and convert high-value schools into long-term partners.
  • The "Face" of the Brand:  Represent our innovative payment solutions at industry roadshows and national conferences.
  • Strategic Pitching:  Present sophisticated payment solutions to School Business Managers, Bursars, and Finance Directors.
  • Collaborative Success:  Work closely with our Head of Education and CCO to align your activity with regional growth targets.
  • Activation:  Ensure a seamless "Go-Live" experience for every new school you bring on board.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 4+ Years in Sales:  A proven track record of "hunting" and winning new business in a B2B environment.
  • The "Hunter" DNA:  You are a self-starter who is hungry for results and motivated by exceeding Gross Profit (GP) targets.
  • Sector Savvy:  Experience in  Payments, Fintech, or Financial Services  is highly desirable. If you’ve previously sold into the  Education sector, you’ll have a significant head start.
  • Gravitas:  The ability to negotiate and communicate professionally with senior finance stakeholders.
  • Efficiency:  Highly proficient in CRM (HubSpot) and the Microsoft suite (Excel/PPT) to manage a weighted pipeline and deliver high-quality proposals.
