Want to top up your July? We are currently seeking multiple professional and customer-focused Corporate Event Assistants to support a premium executive-level technology conference in Melbourne city centre.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside senior business and technology leaders in a fast-paced event environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring attendees have a seamless experience throughout the day, assisting with registrations, meeting coordination, wayfinding and event operations.
About the Role
Working as part of the event team, you'll support approximately 200 attendees and assist with coordinating scheduled one-on-one meetings, roundtable discussions and networking activities throughout the day.
This role is ideal for candidates from events, hospitality or corporate support backgrounds who are confident and have experience interacting with senior business professionals.
A pre-event briefing will be provided prior to the event to ensure all staff are fully prepared for the day.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in attendees using iPads
- Distribute event passes and coloured lanyards
- Assist with event setup and partner preparation
- Provide wayfinding and directional support throughout the venue
- Escort attendees to scheduled one-on-one meetings and roundtable sessions
- Locate delegates for upcoming meetings to ensure schedules run on time
- Support guest flow, room transitions and meeting turnover
- Deliver a premium customer experience to attendees and sponsors
- MUST HAVE experience supporting corporate events or senior business professionals in some form; networking, conferences, round tables, corporate dinners, corporate drinks, executive assistant etc
- Confident with experience communicating with senior executives and business professionals
- Professional presentation, fluent English speaking and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the pre-shift briefing online, and the full shift
