The Role:
- Act as the face and voice of the branch, qualifying inbound calls and emails from plumbers, contractors, and architects.
- Accurately enter orders into an ERP system (Pronto)
- Manage freight and couriers for customer deliveries or liaise with clients to coordinate their own collections.
- Monitor stock levels and raise transfers from interstate or overseas, coordinating arrival via sea or air.
- Work closely with the Office Manager and internal sales team to provide availability, lead times, and product information.
- Think on your feet to resolve delivery issues or stock shortages, ensuring the customer’s project stays on track.
About You:
- A background in Real Estate, Construction, or Industrial Customer Service is highly regarded.
- You are comfortable in a "rough around the edges" contractor environment but can remain professional when dealing with high-end consultants and architects.
- You love to archive and manage your inbox with high efficiency.
- You have a great phone manner and aren't afraid to be "straight" with customers to manage expectations.
- Experience with PRONTO is a huge advantage, but if you are a quick learner with ERP systems, we want to hear from you.
- Ideally located South of the River for an easy commute to the Bannister Rd area.
