Looking to break into events or gain further experience in a fast paced office environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality events, working closely with an experienced (and totally awesome) Senior Event Manager.
This is a 4-week contract (2 days per week) with exposure to live events, venues, suppliers and marketing teams, ideal for someone organised, proactive and keen to get stuck in.
About the role
You’ll support a busy Events & Marketing team, helping coordinate multiple events from planning through to execution. This role is varied and hands-on, with increasing involvement as event dates approach.
What you will be doing
- Managing event registration lists and attendee communication via email
- Coordinating venues, suppliers and F&B requirements
- Assisting with basic artwork, name badges and event materials
- Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders
- Attending venue visits and live events where required
- Experience in an admin, coordination or general business support role; event/marketing experience is highly regarded but not necessary
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail in both written and verbal English language
- Personable and has the ability to get stuck in from day one
- Must have working rights in Australia to apply (i.e, citizen, permanent resident, working holiday maker)
You’ll be joining a collaborative team across events and marketing, working closely with the ANZ Senior Event Manager. The role offers great exposure across both functions and the opportunity to get involved in exciting, large-scale events.
