WOW Recruitment is looking for a Hearing Claims Specialist to join our healthcare/not-for-profit client, based full-time in their modern Pyrmont office.
This is a unique, people-first role combining customer service, claims administration and client consultation. You’ll be speaking with clients (often older Australians) via Zoom and phone, gathering information, assessing eligibility, and supporting them through the early stages of an industrial deafness/hearing-related claims process.
If you’ve worked in claims, insurance, workers comp, legal admin, or customer service/case management, and you’re confident communicating with empathy and clarity—this could be a great step.

- Conducting initial client consultations via Zoom and telephone
- Assessing eligibility and documenting accurate client details
- Explaining next steps and guiding clients through the process
- Managing claims-related admin, forms and documentation
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders (including hearing service providers)
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM/internal systems
- Assisting with general management of claims/legal-style files
- Experience in claims / insurance / workers compensation / legal admin OR strong phone-based customer service with high attention to detail
- Confident and professional communication style (you can build trust quickly)
- Comfortable running video consultations and handling sensitive conversations with empathy
- Strong admin skills—accurate, organised, and process-driven
- Solid computer skills and confidence learning new systems/CRMs
- A proactive “can-do” approach and ability to manage competing priorities
