The Opportunity
Accelerate your career within Business Services and Tax Advisory team, gain exposure to advisory work, and learn directly from experienced Partners and Managers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working with a diverse client base, including business owners and sophisticated investors, you'll gain valuable exposure across both compliance and advisory services while building strong technical and client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BAS, IAS and payroll compliance obligations
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
- Prepare individual tax returns, including rental property and sole trader clients
- Support tax planning, structuring and advisory engagements
- Work closely with Partners and Managers across a diverse client portfolio
- Participate in client meetings and build strong client relationships
- Contribute to both compliance and advisory projects
About You
- 1-2 years' experience in public practice accounting
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proactive, eager to learn, and committed to professional growth
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients
- Experience with Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline (preferred)
