About the Business

Our client is an iconic Australian skincare and salon brand with a long-standing heritage and strong presence across the professional beauty industry. With a national salon network, premium product offering, and exciting growth plans underway, the business is looking to appoint a commercially driven National Business Development Manager to oversee a multistate territory and support the continued growth and performance of its salon partners.

The Role

This is a high impact sales role responsible for driving wholesale revenue, salon performance, franchise engagement, and growth across Australia. Working closely with the State Sales Managers, you will help drive new business development and hand over the accounts to the State Managers to manage. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual new business plan to achieve growth and revenue targets.
  • Deliver a minimum of 15 new salon and stockist openings annually.
  • Identify, prospect and secure new salon, clinic, spa and stockist partners across Australia.
  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, industry engagement and proactive prospecting.
  • Conduct cold-calling and outreach activities to build a sustainable pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Manage all new business enquiries and ensure timely follow-up and conversion.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or account acquisition.
  • Strong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert new business opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
