This is a rare opportunity to step into a hands-on, in-the-tools role with a fast-growing, scale-up company, working directly alongside the Founder and Head of Growth. The successful candidate will be trusted with real ownership of the Meta accounts from day one, with the chance to be coached and developed quickly inside a genuine slingshot growth opportunity.
This isn't a role buried in strategy decks or sitting several layers removed from the work. The Paid Media Manager will be in Ads Manager daily, making calls, testing, and optimising, with direct exposure to experienced operators who are actively invested in their development. They'll also work closely with an in-house creative team of 6, shaping creative strategy and briefing in new concepts based on what the data is showing.
Our client is ideally looking for a genuine B2B Meta specialist, someone who has run B2B lead gen campaigns end to end and understands the nuances of that audience and funnel.
That said, they're open to candidates with up to 3 years' experience in Meta media buying and a strong lead gen background more broadly, even where B2B exposure is limited to one client, so there is flexibility for the right person.
What matters most is a sharp instinct for ad copy and creative, a data first mindset, and the ability to work independently without needing hand holding.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will get real ownership across the full Meta function, including:
- Building, launching and managing Meta campaigns across Australian and US markets
- Owning day to day optimisation, spotting trends in the numbers and acting on them before they become problems
- Optimising creative strategy based on performance data, and briefing the in-house creative team accordingly
- Reviewing and adjusting ad copy and scripts. This isn't a copywriting role, but a sharp eye for what works and why is essential
Requirements
This role would suit someone who has:
- Up to 3 years' experience in Meta media buying, ideally with genuine B2B lead gen experience, though strong lead gen generalists with some B2B exposure will also be considered
- Comfortable in Ads Manager end to end, including campaign structure, conversion events, and audience and creative testing, without needing hand holding
- Strong instinct for ad copy and creative, with the ability to look at an ad and know why it isn't working, and to translate that into clear briefs for a creative team
