Must have: Creative/agency HR background + strong recruitment experience

A globally recognised, Samsung-backed creative agency is looking for a People & Culture Manager to step into a pivotal 12-month contract with a clear pathway to permanent.

This is a true end-to-end P&C leadership role; owning the function, leading a team, and partnering across one of the most fast-paced and creatively driven environments in the market.

You’ll step into an immediate, high-impact role with a strong focus on recruitment, employee relations, and stabilising a newly formed team, all while shaping the broader people strategy.

If you’re an experienced agency HR leader who thrives in pace, enjoys working with creative stakeholders, and can balance strategy with hands-on delivery, this is a standout opportunity.

The role

  • Leading the full People & Culture function across the business
  • Managing a team across HR, payroll and office operations
  • Driving P&C strategy aligned to business growth and workforce planning
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across creative, digital, strategy and client services
  • Leading recruitment and employer brand initiatives (initial heavy focus)
  • Managing employee relations, performance, compliance and risk
  • Overseeing remuneration, engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Driving people analytics, reporting and continuous improvement
  • Balancing strategic leadership with day-to-day operational delivery

Key skills
  • 8–10+ years’ HR experience, ideally within creative / media / agency environments
  • Strong employee relations and Australian employment law expertise
  • Proven experience across recruitment and workforce planning
  • Experience leading or mentoring HR teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at senior level
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • High EQ with a diplomatic, advisory approach

Why this role?
  • High-profile agency environment with exposure to major campaigns and brand work
  • True ownership of the P&C function in a leadership capacity
  • High-impact role with immediate influence on hiring and culture
  • Strong internal team culture — collaborative, supportive and low-drama
  • Clear pathway to permanent and longer-term progression
  • Annual bonus + salary reviews
  • On-site parking + phone subsidy
  • Hybrid working (WFH Wednesdays)

If you have the experience and would like to know more about the role, please contact  Louise and Lucy  by  applying now.
