Are you a high-performing sales leader ready to take ownership of a state-wide sales function and drive growth across a market-leading business?
We are partnering with a well-established national organisation seeking an experienced State Sales Manager to lead sales performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive strategic business growth across Queensland.
This is a pure leadership role focused on coaching, strategy, and driving performance.
The Opportunity Reporting into the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the QLD sales function, driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and coaching a team of sales professionals to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team across Queensland
- Drive new business acquisition and key account growth
- Develop and execute state sales strategies aligned with national objectives
- Coach, mentor, and performance manage sales staff
- Maintain strong pipeline management and CRM discipline
- Build long-term relationships with major customers and stakeholders
- Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure strong operational outcomes and customer experience
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager / State Manager leadership role
- Strong background in business development and sales strategy
- Experience leading and developing sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive revenue growth
- Hands-on leadership style with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience within industrial, construction, heavy equipment, asset, hire, transport, or related sectors highly regarded
- CRM and pipeline management experience essential
