Location: Waterloo - Onsite
Salary:$80k - $90k + Super
Core Mandate: This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end settlement process for home loan applications, ensuring all files progress smoothly from unconditional approval through to settlement with accuracy and compliance.
 
Join a growing finance business supporting clients, brokers, and lenders through the home loan journey. As a Settlement Officer, you’ll take ownership of loan files, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure settlements are completed efficiently and on time.

The Role:
  • Manage a pipeline of home loan files from unconditional approval through to settlement.
  • Prepare and review loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage PEXA settlements.
  • Liaise with lenders, brokers, solicitors, and settlement agents.
  • Complete document verification and quality checks.
  • Coordinate funding and disbursement requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure settlements are completed on time and in line with lender requirements.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail.
 
Who We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years’ experience in mortgage settlements and using PEXA.
  • Experience managing a pipeline of loan files and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced lending environment.
