Our client is a global business in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. Through their national retail parts division, they supply quality products to plumbers, electricians, technicians and other trade professionals.
While trade counter or hardware experience is highly regarded, this role is open to candidates with from any industry. The team is happy to train the right person, they’re really looking for someone approachable, motivated and enjoyable to work with.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving customers at the trade counter and helping them find the right parts
- Answering phone and email enquiries with confidence and professionalism
- Processing orders, quotes and invoices using a CRM and internal systems (training provided)
- Learning product ranges and spotting opportunities to add value where appropriate
- Keeping the counter area organised, clean and well-stocked
- Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure orders are ready on time
- Assisting with stocktakes and incoming deliveries as required
- A positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping customers
- Confidence using basic computer systems and CRMs
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- The ability to learn quickly and take ownership of your role
- Previous customer service, retail, or trade counter experience is helpful
- A driver’s licence is handy, though not required
